ABOUT
The Kenny Bostic Memorial Youth Athletic Fund was established in 2006 after the death of Hawthorne's own, Sgt. Kenny Bostic. Kenny died Oct. 30, 2006 from injuries sustained from contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during check point operations in Baghdad.
The Non-Profit fund promotes children to enjoy sports but gives the organizations scholarships for those who are unable to pay. We have helped with cleats, gloves and any other supplies as well. The Kenny Fund also gives away two Scholarships to High School Seniors that are going into the field of athletics.
The Kenny Fund has been silently donating to such organizations as: The YCAC youth sports, Hawthorne Junior High Volleyball, Little League, Hawthorne Pop Warner, Hawthorne Youth Football League, Stingray Swim Team, Mineral County High School and so many more worthy causes.
It is our goal to never see a kid not play a sport because of funds.
